Hollywood has taken the idea of superheroes seriously in recent years, culminating in billion-dollar franchises like Batman and Spider-Man. However, Hollywood is now being forced to adapt to the current market, with Marvel Studios moving away from big-budget action films. The emergence of Netflix shows like Daredevil have made it possible for dozens of small-scale comic book adaptations to emerge on television, but there's still room for more high quality superhero stories on the big screen. And that's where Rajinikanth comes into play. Rajinikanth's history of long-running, low-budget superhero movies is unrivaled by any other actor in the world. Even better, his storylines were written by legendary screenwriter Goutham Menon (of Baahubali fame). Rajini's onscreen persona was also perfectly suited for the role of superhero. He's an old man that occasionally turns into a wild animal, and the only people he trusts are his extended family (i.e., his nephews). If Rajini was willing to play an old superhero with a special talent for fighting ostracized villains, he'd be the perfect screen character. Rajini hasn't directed a single film in almost 20 years, but he has directed and starred in two superhero films: Ravan and Rajnikanth's own Kabilan. As an actor and producer, Rajinikanth has worked with virtually all of India's top directors and producers — So if they wanted someone that had worked with all of those filmmakers, who knows what kind of blockbuster films could be made? The only reason I'm not proposing this as a crossover movie is because it would be difficult to put together the cast. However, if someone were able to organize a meeting between Rajinikanth and DC or Marvel, one would have to assume that the film would be greenlit almost instantly. In an age where movie budgets are rising faster than inflation, this proposal offers a way to cut costs while simultaneously improving the quality of the film. And for fans of comic book movies, Indian cinema and rajinikanth's career — it would offer a possible resurrection of a once beloved superhero that deserves another chance at the spotlight. Rajinikanth is one of the only actors in history whose name on a project can guarantee box-office success around the world. He's already in the Guinness Book of World Records for acting in the most movies. He's one of the few superstars whose films can make a profit without assistance from marketplaces like the US and Canada. So what do you say Hollywood? If you really want to save money, why not make a movie with Rajinikanth?INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR SESSIONSSESSIONS 1–3 : Session 4 : SESSIONS 5-8 : Rajinikanth is one of the biggest superstars in India, alongside Amitabh Bachchan. cfa1e77820
